About Creative Cat Media
Individually, our experienced specialists. Together, we are a powerful, collaborative, and creative team. Creative Cat Media is a group of individuals with decades of experience in digital and traditional media. We are led by Cindy Rodella-Purdy, an accomplished illustrator and artist, and John A. Purdy, a seasoned photographer and digital media developer. Most of all, we like what we do, and it shows.
President / Illustrator / Designer / ProgrammerCindy has always had a vivid imagination. She can’t remember a time over the last 30 years when she wasn’t drawing and creating. She is an artist who works equally well in traditional and digital mediums. Her passion is incorporating illustrative design into interactive projects so that they tell a story, educate, or entertain. Cindy has an extensive background in traditional/digital design, programming, and project management. As President of Creative Cat Media she oversees the business and creative direction of the company and always makes sure a client’s expectations are exceeded. Cindy says, “If someone asked me today what I would do if I won the lottery – it would be exactly what I’m doing today.”
Vice-President / Programmer / Photographer
About his programming, John says: “Some people don’t think of programming as being creative, but I do. I like the challenge of putting together graphics, interactivity, and programming to create useful and gratifying experiences for users.” About his photography, John says: “I’ve been photographing since the early ’70s; it has always been a passion in my life. Most recently, I’ve been shooting products, doing business photos, taking casual shots of people, and creating my own photo art pieces.” John is equally into his role as Vice President where he conducts project management for many of Creative Cat’s projects. When not shooting photos or making pixels jump, he enjoys riding his bike, video games, and reading history, sci-fi, and physics books.
